Pająk chandelier

Pająk (pah-yonk), plural pająki (pah-yonk-ee) are traditional Polish mobiles that are said to provide protection and bring good luck to the household in which they hang. These folk ornaments are a symbol of happiness and prosperity, and I have intricately handmade this one from crepe paper, tissue paper, straws, pom poms and thread, suspended from a wooden loop for hanging.
